Re: Must be time for a Rubber Soul SDE leak about now...

The clarity on the vocal is amazing! Here's my guess: you isolated the lo-fi vocal first via AI, then strengthened it by running it through a Lennon vocal sample AI... Does this mean you can do the same for "Mama You've Been On My Mind" from the Twickenham sessions? Been lusting after a cl...

This new Smile remix/recut is one of the very best. Smooth and creamy.

Re: Audio quality on James Paul McCartney DVD

My guess would be yes, if only marginally. I’d love to work on a “restored” version of this, if only I could get a rip if the DVD audio.

Re: Audio quality on James Paul McCartney DVD

Well, dangit. I wonder if some EQ/remixing/compression might help any of it. Still sounds like TV sound to me!

They've GOT to have better recordings from this in the vault somewhere. The acoustic medley exists in great quality. The rest ought to as well.

Audio quality on James Paul McCartney DVD

…the one included on the RRS deluxe set.

Re: SHOULD WE RECONSTRUCT unreleased studio takes with the technology & material we have?

I think the even better thing to do is take songs that never made it out--namely, a number of select bits from the GET BACK tapes, among others--and mix them to become fully-fledged Beatle tracks. (My hope is that the ex-Beatles and their helpers have been doing this for some time, to present us wit...

Re: The Beatles - At The BBC [Edition 2023]

These sound wonderful! And best of all, due to your great taste in track selection, we can now re-create a very nice album version of Yellow Matter Custard / As Sweet As You Are, which--as I think Castleman/Podrazik once said--really ought to be considered as the Beatles' first album (or second, if ...

Taking the tempo back by -4% seems to put it right in the sweet spot for me.
