Re: My Oldest Beatles US 45
Arghh! The link doesn't work! And I just GOTTA hear this, I just GOTTA! Sorry about that, Rave! I've fixed the link. Got it! Thanks! And it sounds great, as usual. Your rips always have a nice tone to them. I might someday apply this EQ to one of the newer issues of SLY. I'll post it...

Sounds good, paul62!
hmmm...You've included five tracks from Beatles VI and another eight from Yesterday...and Today!
I will always see the world that way.

Re: THE LOST '65 SINGLE
This is fascinating stuff, paul62. Looking through my own Barrett folder, there is a "Take 2" that might sound good if it weren't drenched in reverb. It's track #14 on the first CD of Turn Me On Dead Man, and might not need much fixing, performance wise.

I keep going back to this, and your "fix" is not only the most natural sounding thing in the world, but it's a huge relief ! Thanks again ! !

Don't see many Ramblers these days!
This was before Texas started issuing renewal stickers for your license plates. Every year you'd get a new set of plates with a new number on 'em, and skin your knuckles swapping 'em out.
That baby is 56 now...

There's an old story about them getting Buck Owens records from Capitol. I know of at least one they paid attention to!

Re: THE LOST '65 SINGLE
The song is a ballad which Paul and I wrote for the film but we found we just couldn’t sing it. In fact, we made a hash of it, so we thought we’d better give it to someone who could do it well.
