Re: Abracadabra

Re: THE LOST '65 SINGLE

I think TMAL was also inadvertently momentous in that it was the first time they dubbed across to a second 4 track recorder.

Re: THE LOST '65 SINGLE

have you guys ever noticed that the backing of TMAL resembles strongly the one from "Ticket to Ride"? or am i hearing things? Yes, me. Ringo around this time started experimenting with different drum beats, starting with I Feel Fine. This drum beat is actually similar to Arthur Alex...

1. If the rip is in the form of sides + cue sheet is there a way to have Audacity read the sheet? Yes, open the cue sheet in a txt editor and paste the contents into: http://grimblefritz.com/audacity/cue2lbl.php Convert it to labels and then copy the text back into a blank txt file and then use the...

Re: Mach Schau - new book at www.apcor.net

Thorsten the book looks fantastic but the postage is absolutely astronomical. It's almost the same as the price of the book. I really want to buy this but cannot afford postage like that. Is there any chance of you using a different carrier? I've spoken to other people and I think you are losing man...

Re: The 2012 Vinyl Re-Issues Were From 44.1khz Source

Thanks for the info guys. I'd like to ask a few more questions to Lord Reith before going straight into 16/48 for my vinyl rip collection. You told me foobar was good for the job but I forgot to ask which resampler works best in your opinion. PPHS (ultra mode on or not?) or SSRC? Id been using PPHS...

Re: Abracadabra

I'm sure vol 5 and 0 will be just as great sounding as all the others you have done. I really enjoy listening to them. have you also done MMT and reworked vol 8? I've never shared V8 before. I haven't done MMt yet. It will all be quite a way off (several months) to give me time to finish everything...

Re: Star Club 1962

Here's three different versions of Red Sails In The Sunset:

- the 1977 Lingasong lp release
- the raw mono tape
- the stereo demix

Interesting to compare.
