I thought this was just a television documentary. I didn't thing there was a commercial release. I know in America it was shown on PBS.

I have a soft spot for the film too. I saw it when I was a kid in the early 80s and in the throes of Beatlemania. I also like it because it was filmed at a time that wasn’t too far removed from the original events which inherently gives it that air of authenticity.

Thank you Mark for yet another splendid LD transfer and trip down memory lane. If I'm feeling really nostalgic, I can always break out my set and hold the jackets in my hands, just like listening to LPs - but on second thought, that would detract from viewing the actual video 😁. Only a handful left...
