Re: Concert for Kampuchea 1979 info wanted.

A few years ago some outtakes from the official album surfaced. Not whole sets by the bands, but a few extra songs from each. You can sample them on you tube in rather poor, squelchy sound, but they do exist in better quality and can probably be downloaded elsewhere: hxxps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...

Re: Abbey Road 1983 Tour

Being the most recent release, I assume the HMC package is the best version of both video and audio for the show. Can anyone confirm?

I've only just realised from the images on the discogs entry for the 2LP set, that the inner gatefold is a nice pastiche of the White Album inner layout

Re: Harry And His Box Set

I really enjoyed the 'bonus content' Yellow Matter Custard video. I fired it up to have a quick glance, and ended up watching the whole thing. Right down to the end credits, which are well worth a look  Those vintage pics and the audio selection are just so engrossing - a lot of photos I'd ...

Re: The Beatles And Harry At The Beeb

Re. Vol20 - that's fantastic, hearing the Kenny Everett quip about the transport minister's wife that got him sacked!

Now that's magic!

Re: LIVE AND LOST

when did brits finally get to see the sullivan show performances? I can’t remember seeing them before buying the Anthology VHS and “The First US Visit” DVD. It’s possible that the occasional clip might have been shown on TV before this, but there was no official, “well, here it is…” unveiling. Eith...

In L.A., we have a much higher average means<----->extremes ambient temperature dynamic in degrees farenheit that adhesives might never harden, candy, dry out. out-gas, ooze, stain, tear, fall-off, stay-stuck, et cetera, and on and on------>obey my wishes. Re: Hype stickers. What are your thoughts?

I'm a fan too and retain them when I can - if they're on shrinkwrapped CDs I'll snip round the wrap and keep it inside the CD lid.... with shrinkwrapped LPs I'll just slice down the side of the cover if it's a single sleeve, for gatefolds I'll still try and keep the shrink even though they get wrink...
