Re: Red & Blue Albums

In general i love the mixes of the new red and blue, even if some people here did not like the new stereo mix of "She loves you" i liked it, not loved it, but find it quite good playing at upscaling Dolby IIx Music in my MHT300 system. but... I am still trying to make out my decision in re...

Re: What can we expect from the 2023 Atmos mixes ?

The way I've seen ATMOS beeing delivered to the consumer is a mult-channel mixdown. Separate 'objects' no more. DA is mainly designed for high end hardware AV systems that can support such configuration. On the orher hand, the way that is being marketed and deliverer to public at large that does no...

Re: What can we expect from the 2023 Atmos mixes ?

So can every element of every song be extracted? I know nothing about this Atmos surround thing. The defining feature of Dolby Atmos is its configuration of audio objects. Sounds are no longer limited to their respective channels. Since Atmos’ introduction, audio is interpreted and recreated as obj...

Re: Now And Then (merged threads)

Is this one really Dolby Atmos? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kDrAE1028Y NOPE, is just a simulation for headphones, a decent component system would not recognize this as Dolby Atmos, and those who still claiming that it "sounds amazing" have no idea, with all due respect being said, i ...

Re: Now And Then (merged threads)

this may sound cheesy for some, for others utterly ridiculous, but i just heard "Now and Then" and "Yes, I Have Ghosts" (David Gilmore) back to back, and they match perfectly to me in sequence, i cried... like a lot, regardless of everyone tastes on this music, i just say i loved...

Re: Beatles Number One in UK

On amazon.es you have it at a good price: 24,23€. The blue vinyl. It's number 1 on amazon.es... You know you can buy it in any amazon. Everything sold out on Beatles site and UK Amazon, all down to scalpers now. Beatles site was one cd per customer, would like to know how many were made of each for...

Re: Red & Blue Albums

Just listened to the Digital remix of "Love Me Do" from Apple, i liked it really, for some reason it does not sound to me as echo laden as the youtube version, i wonder if there was a different mix provided for YT, but is actually better than the original mono for this ears :)

Re: Shout! by Philip Norman

Started reading this again the other day for the first time in 40 years and am highly impressed. This is a very easy and pleasant book to read and he has a lovely way of describing things. He seems to be able to bring the scene to life far better than any of the other biographers. You really feel l...

Those are one of my favorite parts (just behind the 65/68 era parts of the book) :D 8-)
