Re: FIRST US VISIT coming soon!

It is good news about First US Visit being revisited. I, however, have to take issue with all this negativity about the Let It Be film. I think it's a great movie. There are some sloppy edits, but that's pretty normal in concert films and rock documentaries. I first saw the movie at a drive-in thea...

The best source for the missing 64 show is my own Live And Lost.

Re: FIRST US VISIT coming soon!

Sorry to say this, but Being the Master of the BBC Stuff, I think you have listened a lot of BBC and 1962-1965 Stuff. I´m afraid you will always prefer 1962-1968 Beatles Stuff. :geek: Well this is true, I am much more a fan of their early years. I still like the stuff towards the end but i don't ge...

I would even venture that the release, if Apple has anything to do with it, and they probably do, would be limited to just the Maysles doc as originally released, but pristine. No extras. No complete Washington concert. No additional f...

Thanks guys.
JoeWadley wrote: Tue May 14, 2024 9:09 pm You said this a new collection. I'm trying to figure out the theme. Is it just songs you think can sound better?
There's no theme it's just totally random. When I have an idea, I do it and if it works I share it and if not in goes in the hall of shame.

Re: FIRST US VISIT coming soon!

May it be another 3-part series! Part 1: New York City / Part 2: Washington / Part 3: Miami We can but dream. Assuming they have all the rights, this would be the perfect opportunity to release the Washington concert. Plus the videotaped Sullivan rehearsals that have never been seen. Plus... well, ...

Re: question -- best way to share an MP4 8-gig file?

Zip it and tick the split into multiple files option, say 2gb each. Then the person at the other end can just download all four and unzip it as one file. Well, this is exactly what is completely unnecessary for a pixeldrain upload. You can upload the file in one piece. And .mp4 videos can also be w...

FIRST US VISIT coming soon!

According to multiple sources including Ringo, a new extended version of this is coming in the second or third quarter this year! There was apparently 20 hours footage shot in 1964. So I hope this is another PJ 8 hour extravaganza! I was watching "Yeah Yeah Yeah New York Meets The Beatles"...
