Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 available
Also, I don't understand why they officially released a portion of a take stitched together with the end of the reduction mix. For the same reason MasterJedi considered scrapping EMI Take 1 a few pages ago. The complete reduction mix would be identical to the final version for the first half. That'...

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 available
What's the difference between the EMI take and the official release of I want you? It's a looooong, complicated, and incomplete story. Dig through the last few pages of this thread and I think it'll answer your question. Also, I don't understand why they officially released a portion of a take stit...

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 available
58 I Want You [EMI 'take 1'] clicks at 4:30, not on the SDE version of that portion I've just got to listen to this (partially). I remember some of the clicks (also a pickup change) were mistakenly erased from the 2009 Remasters because they thought they were technical glitches, right? While they s...

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 beta 2 available
It would be great to reconstruct the song in the state it was in at a certain time... would it be possible though? Like, maybe the first part has these overdubs, while the second one lacks something, and the third one has these things that weren't there at that time, etc. It's a bit difficult, but ...

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 beta 2 available
Items not addressed: I still have no good ideas on how to split up the 2 I Want You takes Wouldn't something like this work? hxxps://we.tl/t-99RWgVGJgQ The Rock Band version with "She's so heavy" muted, with the reduction mix edited onto the end (excuse the crummy mix and edit, I just thr...

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 beta 2 available
There's that, AND an extra unused "and I say". There's actually a couple more accidentally selected unused tracks snippets in LITMW (I seem to remember a little more lead guitar and some unused harmonies) but they happen so briefly, they don't work well in the mix. That's why I kept the f...

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 beta 2 available
Great! Now it must be the most complete existing version, unless (but I might remember it wrong) there was an unused strings overdub just after the last "Sun, sun, sun, here it comes"? I seem to remember csnyfan had isolated and added it in his orchestra isolation of Here Comes The Sun (i...

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 beta 2 available
When oopsed at that spot, take 5 has a unique "Come to-" in the background that does not match the main vocal, which is from take 1 by consequence; the "-gether" from take 1 drowns out the one in the noise, though. Too faint to reconstruct pleasingly, imo. Very interesting... So...

Freshly redone by Csnyfan! Well, can I say you two always surprise me? Freshly done by me Great! Now it must be the most complete existing version, unless (but I might remember it wrong) there was an unused strings overdub just after the last "Sun, sun, sun, here it comes"? I se...

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 beta 2 available
I've listened to the new volume (V2). What can I say? Great! :D Take 10 of The Ballad Of John And Yoko is fantastic! Was it done recently? It's much better than the old one with the wobbly stereo effect. Also, I've noticed that Here Comes The Sun (Take 15) has every overdub as the final version, plu...
