Re: Requesting EMI Deltas
I think I remember that Andrew from Polygram, said in one of his videos that the versions of Please Please Me and Ask Me Why that are on the original UK 45 were from the Delta tape. They were better in his opinion, especially Ask Me Why which is drier and has less reverb. I tried to find the video ...

All said and done I think you have done a great job considering the current limitations of AI upscaling. Thanks

Re: What do you consider to be the best Beatles audio/video interview?
Your questions raises a good point. I don't there was ever a really good, thorough interview recorded of all four of them together, that's not to say there's not plenty of good stuff out there but it's wherever you find it.

Re: Michael Lindsay-Hogg's 'Let It Be' is coming!
I think the answer is that because they had used film (even if it wasn't 35mm) instead of video tape they had the option to change their minds and apparently they did and their artistic choice wasn't to release it in 4:3 ratio. They shot on 16mm because there wasn’t much budget, don’t forget they s...

Re: Michael Lindsay-Hogg's 'Let It Be' is coming!
I wonder how many don't realise that often things are filmed in a 4:3 aspect ratio with the deliberate intention for the final production to be cropped for the final release? How is this relevant if we’re talking a tv-special that was only later made into a film because they didn’t know what else t...

Re: Best Youtube converter/downloader "A must have question"
I use Internet Download Manager. I bought it about 20 years ago and it's been one of the best investments ever. It automatically gives me the option of downloading all of the versions of any YouTube video available without any reconversion (All available resolutions and even HDR where available).

Re: Michael Lindsay-Hogg's 'Let It Be' is coming!
I wonder how many don't realise that often things are filmed in a 4:3 aspect ratio with the deliberate intention for the final production to be cropped for the final release? It gives more flexibility as to how the final product can best be cropped. 'Widescreen' formats have long been preferred for ...

Re: What is it that keeps your interest in The Beatles alive?
Their exisitng output would be enough to keep my interest up forever, I mean they evolved at an incredible pace and covered so many musical styles. Although I have my favourites it's great when someone else plays a track I haven't played in a while, so often I'll think to myself you should play that...

Re: Quarry Men Kennsington Acetate copy on Ebay
That's certainly true of the replicas that John "Duff" Lowe got to legally sell in the nineties. But I'd like to think an inner circle copy from Paul in the eighties would actually be playable. If not, then you're basically paying $19,000 for an autograph. In black pen on black paper, no ...
