How about going way back to "The Savage Young Beatles," issued on vinyl in the US in 1965. Savage Records didn't have the rights to these Sheridan-era recordings. So, technically, wouldn't that make this LP a bootleg?

I've got this but won't be able to get this up for a couple of days. With the exception of one or two cuts though, I wasn't that impressed with the disc.
