I hope this is not true as a Stereo Remix & Surround mix of Rubber Soul would be much preferred for me & likely many others. I would hope & expect Rubber Soul would out sell a Red & Blue set.

I am not sure you can trust what Penn Jillette has to say also.

I decided to tackle a complete remix of the #1 songs it contained with new stereo vocal only mixes +complete new stereo mixes as well as surround mixes + some extras as my final large project. My hearing & age related issues is catching up with me now so I can not do mixes as well as I intended ...

Nice job on the dry mixes. I never liked the heavy double tracking they did on this LP & some of my mixes also eliminated much of it in the past.

Too bad Giles Martin left it on in his new remixes.
