Intriguingly, the old bootleg book "You Can't Do That" lists a Ringo 45 from 1964, apparently of him singing "I Got A Woman"...
This seems incredibly unlikely to exist. Anyone know about this?

Re: Bad / Dissapointing Bootlegs
I like 1967 and most of the other Sacor releases. Their unpredictable and fun! Though I’m probably the only one that feels that way, LOL. I like horrid aounding bootlegs. I think they’re charming. 1967 wasn't a SAPCOR, though! (SAPCOR did "Dr. Pepper.") 1967 was made by NEMS, the guy who ...

You do have a point - about keeping it available so no one has a reason to buy it.
I'd do that, but yeah, after this, I don't see me posting any further projects here.

Due to the vultures at Beatfile selling copies of this, you will never see me post this again - nor will I be doing a further Rutles project. Yes, I'm aware Beatfile sources from this forum, so all the more reason not to. That really sucks. In groups like this you'd expect it to be a "Fight Cl...

Re: Bad / Dissapointing Bootlegs
It was either 1979 or 1980 when I was either 10 or 11 eleven years old,and I remember my mom and I had gone into Al Vickers Record Shop which was located on Liberty Ave between 121 Street & 122 Street in Richmond Hill,NY which unfortunately does not exist anymore. While we were there,we saw fro...

Re: Question: Loud noise at the beginning of Get Back (One)?
The first couple distorted notes? Sounds like they just overloaded the amps for a second (or someone recording the sound had the mix too hot).
There is a non-distorted version though, heard on the "Last Licks Live" boot.

Re: Radio Presenter Dialogue - Piece Of Mind - Come Together
Incidentally, the true performer of "Peace Of Mind" (Piece!) seems to have come forward over the past few years - his name was Walton Jones. Now a professor, he said he had no idea how the song, which he gave to friends, ended up passed around as a Beatles track.
