The Beatles Anthology expanded podcast - 18 episodes, 28 hours of the band’s history. Worth the listen.
I think you mean "The Beatles Anthology Revisited"?

Re: MLH's 'Let It Be' is coming!

I just can't understand what is going on in January 69. They just play those same songs over and over... what was the point?? Normally they'd just work on the song for one session, then add overdubs at extra sessions, mix it and then forget about it. But Paul seemed determined to drive the songs in...

Re: MLH's 'Let It Be' is coming!

I can't wait to see the SHF thread, with 675 pages worth of arguments about the cropping and grain reduction! Myself I don't really care as neither really bothered me in Get Back. What I enjoyed in Get Back was all the stuff that they performed incidentally. The stuff that they were TRYING to recor...

Somebody was up late last night singing... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cU0GK1zn-Q Hopefully an IEM/board shows up on this. Ugh. I love Paul, but sometimes his vocal delivery these days is so rough... God bless him, though. We'll not see his like again in a while so I enjoy him while I can.

James McCartney/ Sean Ono Lennon
Not the Lennon/McCartney we wanted, but the Lennon/McCartney we deserve.

Re: Puttin' On The Style (AI voiceover removal)

I've always heard these as two different versions for some reason - one fast ... one slow. This is the first time I've heard the song as starting slow and then speeding up. Was that really the way the song was performed?

Ah, OK, then it's my misunderstanding. Thought it was an interesting coincidence though.

Mucho Mungo / I'll Give You A Ring

Not sure where else to post this, but wondering if anyone was thinking along the same lines. Listening to Lennon's "Mucho Mungo" the other day made me suddenly think of McCartney's "I'll Give You A Ring". They aren't the same but they are reminiscent of each other, as if both of ...
