Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 available

For the same reason MasterJedi considered scrapping EMI Take 1 a few pages ago. The complete reduction mix would be identical to the final version for the first half. That's a worthwhile inclusion on this complete set of outtakes, but not the most interesting for a curated selection of outtakes lik...

It's a looooong, complicated, and incomplete story. Dig through the last few pages of this thread and I think it'll answer your question.

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 available

58 I Want You [EMI 'take 1'] clicks at 4:30, not on the SDE version of that portion I've just got to listen to this (partially). I remember some of the clicks (also a pickup change) were mistakenly erased from the 2009 Remasters because they thought they were technical glitches, right? While they s...

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 available

54 Because [take 1 instrumental] 55 Because [unknown take] could be composited together nicely, adding the bass from the second repeat on 55 to the start of the first one. I think The RB mix captures more of the elements than the SDE mix, which mixes the instruments low after the final guitar chord...

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 available

53 You Never Give Me Your Money [piano SI onto take 30] I still don't get why this one is included. Only the tack piano segment is the overdub here, right? Ah no it actually keeps going all the way. Why this one out of a plethora of other (interesting) overdubs that don't make the cut? I may be mis...

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 available

Two questions: in Vol. 15, there are two times "Here Comes The Sun [take 2]" (tracks 24 and 25), is that right? Finally, in addition to the additional bonus Vol. (thanks in advance), are there plans to review the first volumes according to recent technologies? Is there a general possibili...

Yes, it's on the list of future updates.

Re: Complete Recording Sessions Vol 15 available

A quick question, which has likely been answered upthread. Why is Something (Take 37) relegated to vintage mixes? It's a very memorable outtake due to the piano ending. And many thanks for this exceptional set! I don't consider anything in vintage mixes as relegated. Some of my favorites are in the...

Is it a last volume?
Not sure yet. There are quite a few tracks that didn't make the cut (no new elements), and those may be an additional volume.
