Re: WATCHING RAINBOWS - THE ULTIMATE GET BACK SESSIONS REMASTER (release thread)
More details (maybe): near the end of 23.36 before the bass improv it sounds like someone (John?) played the guitar part for Angel Baby, recorded by Rosie And The Originals. Re: WATCHING RAINBOWS - THE ULTIMATE GET BACK SESSIONS REMASTER (release thread)
a question, 14.09 Ringo arrives, who is playing guitar, it's sort of a talking blues. I know Ringo and Paul are both on piano for I Bought A Piano, but the guitar and song right before I'd like more info on if possible.
Thanks, Jack

Re: WATCHING RAINBOWS - THE ULTIMATE GET BACK SESSIONS REMASTER (release thread)
Another correction needed (I think) in notes booklet: 13.08P The song title should probably be Otis Sleep On. It's an Arthur Conley tribute to Otis Redding. I have an old Arthur Conley 45 on the ATCO label. One side of the record is Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da and the other side of the record is Otis Sleep O...

Re: WATCHING RAINBOWS - THE ULTIMATE GET BACK SESSIONS REMASTER (release thread)
In the Get Back film, I thought it was a pretty big deal hearing Paul come up with the riff that turned into the song Get Back. Where in this Watching Rainbows release does that recording appear?
Thanks in advance for help locating this.

It sounded like Louie Louie to me (only listened once). Another set of ears would be a nice confirmation.

Re: WATCHING RAINBOWS - THE ULTIMATE GET BACK SESSIONS REMASTER (release thread)
Today I started listening to Jan. 6 and I'd never noticed before but 6.08 Improvisation is basically The Beatles riffing on Louie Louie.

Re: WATCHING RAINBOWS - THE ULTIMATE GET BACK SESSIONS REMASTER (release thread)
Big thanks for this. I'm wondering about whether to download the Normal Version or the No Wider Version. Could folks chime in with what the actual differences are, what they like about each version, etc.? That would be useful information for me.
Thanks, Jack
