Re: The Kenny Saxton Catalogue

yes, Kenny I really would like to listen to Let It Be... Fixed. I'm enjoying A LOT the Frankensteined version. It's a great idea to have included a Billy Preston track, and I love the orchestral overdub on "The Long And Winding Road".

Re: Mind Games EP : April 20 - (box set for July)

This might be a daft question but I ordered the box set from Amazon France as it's quite a bit cheaper than in the UK and I don't know if the book will in be in French or English. I've never bought a box set before from France only regular albums that usually contain just the lyrics. Is anybody her...

Re: Mind Games EP : April 20 - (box set for July)

I think that the major weakness of " Mind Games " is that it's a kind of hodge-bodge with great ballads (Out Of The Blue), plagued by the insistence of female chorists (One Day At A Time), bad choice (Yoko suggesting Lennon to sing it in falsetto), with outtakes/leftovers from Sometime In ...

Re: Mind Games EP : April 20 - (box set for July)

the lap-steel guitar isolated on "You Are Here" is great. Sneaky Pete did an amazing job on this one. I don't remember, it is the same Pete that did the lap-steel during George's All Things Must Pass sessions using a voicebox to play "Bridge Over Troubled Water" on lap steel guit...

Re: Mind Games EP : April 20 - (box set for July)

After a couple of listens of both, these elements mixes are better than those that we've received before in my opinion. The slide guitar on You Are Here especially is gorgeous and fantastic to hear on its own (well, alongside a gentle organ in the background). I did not know that was John on electr...

Re: Long Long Long (George & guitar)

oh, one of my favorite song from the White Album - this is stunning. Please do me a favor  release when the disk is full enough as a complete "hodge podge" album of stunning mix (Old Brown Shoe with alt vocals was great; Hello Goodbye too); you could include your future mix of "...
