Re: Has anyone watched Birth Of The Beatles on amazon?
Plus I’ve always been fascinated by the thought that John could have seen this. I don’t know of him ever referencing it, and he probably didn’t - but he COULD have. I loved Lord Reith’s experiments with the BBC versions substituted for the Rain versions. I guess the only ones that couldn’t be done w...

Absolutely brilliant LR. Definitive. Thank you completely. I missed most of the set (with Covid) and was wondering if anyone was planning on putting up comprehensive links with the patches? I’ve started going through the thread but I’m a bit confused. Anyway - this is MASSIVE! Thank you again for cu...

I’m glad he’s out there doing whatever he wants, be this really hurts to hear.alphabeatles wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2024 8:57 pm Been waiting for these – thanks, I think!
Paul's paid his dues so he can get away with this performance, otherwise one might mistake the show for a senior home Beatles cover band...

It’s mind boggling that they were so young and so fascinated with the intricacies of harmony. And melody.
Their voices are so spot on. Pitch, texture, even volume control. Amazing what they could do on a twin track or 4 track. They astound me again and again. Thanks LR

Re: Star Club vocal experiments (14)
Almost looks like Paul’s coffin bass cabinet. Not as busted up though. The Fender amps combined with the tape saturation make their instruments sound pretty modern to my ears. Doesn’t have that flat-wound-string-through-30-watt-Vox to my ears at all. It is amazing what has emerged from this last cle...

Re: What unreleased bootleg is YOUR "Holy Grail"
Are there even rumors of a ‘65 UK tour boot? I know someone very very important has some silent video that they do not share, but has anyone ever heard of the existence of audio?
