Re: Analog to Digital conversion

Thanks for all the feedback. The video was very helpful. Has anyone used that Vidbox product?

I've had DVD recorders, but they are not as reliable as they once were. And getting them repaired has not been successful.

Much appreciated!

Analog to Digital conversion

Hey folks, looking for recommendations for analog to digital video conversion. I've tried several and have not been satisfied. Any suggestions? Looking to digitize old VHS tapes.

Thx

Re: Michael Lindsay-Hogg's 'Let It Be' is coming!

And although there were several climaxes like Ringo leaving the White Album sessions and George in Twickenham, but I wouldn’t say that something climaxed during Abbey Road? That was basically the last time Lennon recorded with them. They never regrouped after that and a month later Lennon asked for...

Re: Michael Lindsay-Hogg's 'Let It Be' is coming!

Reflecting on LET IT BE vs GET BACK. Generally, LET IT BE has always been viewed as a documentary, essentially showing the Beatles breaking up as they record their final album. The reality is LET IT BE is a collection of highlights from the rehearsals and final performances. GET BACK is much more of...

Disney has started to ramp up their physical media production again, and they have farmed production out to Sony. Chances are, there will be a physical release.

Re: Harry And His Box Set

I hate to ask this... but is this really Paul? Or is Kenny pulling our leg? I'm stuck in the middle. It is contemporary with Hello Goodbye, so it is possible. The vocals are reflective of McCartney as heard on the Christmas tape. Or is it just Kenny goofing around? Can someone ask Paul? Please?

Maybe make it an optional bonus? It is a McCartney studio performance.

Actually, what if this is from the session that produced takes 1 and 2? That has harmonium and clicking percussion, too. I think that is much more likely.
Maybe just call it "take unknown"?

Re: Complete Recording Sessions NEW UPDATES (Vol. 12 available)

So, what does everyone think? Replace IATW US stereo with German stereo, or just leave it? Also, should I speed correct the Hey Bulldog tracks, or leave them at the speed of the released version? At some point, you are just splitting hairs. At what point do you this is good enough? I think you can ...
