When the Beatles Will Go Public Domain
So I've been doing some research on public domain, I find the idea of when Beatles stuff goes copyright interesting in general, so here's my findings from what I can tell (take this with a grain of salt because copyright is complicated, but I did add sources). This is how it works in the US because ...

Yeah I mean I wasn't really trying to correct you or anything, just trying to share a fun fact reallyMaccawings wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 6:16 pm Not a Sean follower so had no idea about James involvement as far as Hiroshima Sky, yes 6 although my comment was a 2024 Lennon/McCartney writing credit, other two tracks do no dilute my comment

Re: Son's Of The Beatles
I mean, if you want to get technical (and I do!) this is actual the 3rd McCartney-Lennon sons song First was Hiroshima Sky Is Always Blue with 2 Lennons, and 6 mccartneys! (making it a Lennon-Lennon-McCartney-McCartney-McCartney-McCartney-McCartney-McCartney song, which I think makes it at least twi...

Re: EMERICK LAGOS TAPE HMC VS MISTERCLAUDEL
Brother it's just some bootlegs ease up now, no need to be ride or die over one or the other lmao Agreed. What puts me off the MCCD set is them not being transparent about the amount of outfakes. I d/l'ed the set last week so not sure if the outfakes are mentioned in the booklet or not but if they ...

Re: What is it that keeps your interest in The Beatles alive?
Probably just the idea that there's always more to learn and categorize. I mean until we have 1 bootleg with just everything in chronological order I'll stay interested.

Re: Coming soon from Misterclaudel
For me, the HMC clearly beats the Misterclaudel. The Misterclaudel's only big plus is 'Girls School #1', which we might probably see on future Geoff Emerick tapes bootlegs. But otherwise it sounds like they've just used some of the new AI apps out there, with which you can easily separate stuff and...

Re: Coming soon from Misterclaudel
Mine arrived as well…and I’ll say this…it seems like the recent “Underdubbed” official release was done in response to this stuff floating around…hearing a bunch of similarities…Let Me Roll it and 1985 to name two.. There are similarities of course between the Lagos and Underdubbed tapes, given tha...

Re: Coming soon from Misterclaudel
Hello to all. I have the MCCD version and I’m curious if someone could break down the tracks and let us know what is new (from the auction tape, private collection) and what is just manipulated (rockband, AI, atmos etc)? It would be greatly appreciated. I’m having trouble listening to any of these ...
