Re: Quadraphonic 8-Tracks

These are the only Quad Beatles releases I have. I’m still after Band On The Run (missed opportunity from Macca not releasing that this year), Goodnight Vienna , Pussy Cats or the Live And Let Die soundtrack. The Imagine Quad mix is still in print and the BluRay sound MUCH better than a decoded SQ L...

Re: Quadraphonic 8-Tracks

Foobar 2000 will play these DTS wav tracks just fine - listening to Rockshow as I type this. Thanks for posting this. Yes, the tracks are DTS encoded so you will need either software like Foobar or VLC with a DTS decoder. Alternatively, they will also decode if you play them through an amplifier wi...

Re: The Beatles Get Back Sessions - All Available Footage (Volume 1 - Twickenham)

It looks awful, but I like it! :D As long as you like it. Something I did before I went to bed last night. It's interesting that Let It Be has the most garish cover art of all the Beatles' home media releases. Everything is either super grimy looking like the VHS and CED covers or way too glo...

Re: The Beatles Get Back Sessions - All Available Footage (Volume 1 - Twickenham)

I thought I'd get in the spirit and make a poster for the project. I went with the Anthology-theme since it also references the multiple-sourced approach of the project.

A write-up on The Daily Beatle with a timeline of the film's home video history. Nice work, Wogew!

Re: MLH's 'Let It Be' is coming!

Via FB "There will be an answer." I'm betting the next post will be a filled in poster with the film's title (perhaps an animated one?). "There will be an answer..... Let It Be " Never thought this day would come. Before I start worrying if Wingnut Films are going to DNR every s...

Who was the band(s) on the non-Beatles tracks? I only know "Piece of Mind".

Re: 60fps Anthology?

I have VHS Anthology, and it's def not interpolated, real 50 fps I might be splitting hairs here: 50 fps (frames per second) is not native to VHS. A PAL tape running at 50Hz will give you 25fps, an NTSC tape will give you 29.97 fps at 60Hz. However... When you capture a VHS tape at its native frame...
