Re: SON OF ZUBE! (Hey Zube 2022)
Thank you Lord Reith for the wonderful gift. I have only one question. I Saw Her Standing There [tke 10] is missing? It is included in MasterJedi's "great scott!" cheers Glad you enjoyed it. Take 10 is actually just the same as take 9, that's why i didn't include it. It seems they were go...

Re: Request Paperback (Vocal and Bass) Not Anthology versionGY
Dear All, I'm hoping someone may have a copy better copy of this track for a project I'm working on. I have an old tape copy of Paperback writer vocal and bass which is not the antholoy version. It's scritchy so I'm hoping for a cleaner copy. So far I've not found it on any of the CD bootlegs in my...

Re: POLL: DESERT ISLAND YEARS
If I could pick a 'year' as in '12 month period', it would be June 1964 to June 1965. Since I can't, I'll have to go with 1964 (mainly for Beatles For Sale). My other choice is 1970, due to the sheer amount and diversity of quality music on offer (do I get the Hey Jude comp too? It Don't Come Easy? ...

Re: Obnoxious Rubber Soul Bass
... There was a big gradual decline in the recorded quality of the bass guitar following She Loves You and up until Rubber Soul. The bass guitar on the PPM album sounds amazing - really very clear and punchy. By the time of Beatles for sale and help, Paul's bass had become an indistinct murmur in t...

Re: Beatles "CD singles" set 3" vs 5"?
On Ebay I snagged a copy of the CD singles box for not much money. :D It's not the first release of the individual 3" CDs but the box with them on standard 5" [4.7"] CDs. I assume they are the exact same audio? Anyways, I had some of the 3" singles when they originally came out ...

Re: Can you "fix" the 1987 CDs of the first four albums?
They may have started out with the unlimited tracks for the US Box, but they then did their own processing. Seems like they went through an analog stage, because though the tracks stay pretty much in sync with the 2009's there is slight drift (meaning OOPS-ing them with the 2009's is impossible). An...

Re: Requesting EMI Deltas
IIRC in the stereo TYG the last harmonica riff (not counting the onr in the coda) enters a bit earlier than in the mono, creating a bit of a syncopation. That's because it cuts to the ending edit piece (and the harmonica overdubbed on top of it) earlier than the mono version does. MONO - Last choru...

Re: Requesting EMI Deltas
When I rebuilt FMTY or TYG I noticed that one of the harmonica overdubs in the released version could not be matched to the session tape. So it must have been physically cut from the session/SI tape and inserted into the master? Not sure offhand. But the transition to the edit piece at the end of T...

Re: Requesting EMI Deltas
To answer the original question: Does anybody know if there are bootlegs of EMI Delta reels of the Beatles. I'm sure I've read somewhere that EMI (knowingly or unwittingly) used the deltas for the Hits and Twist And Shout EPs. More enlightenment on this topic would be gratefully appreciated. Many th...
