Re: RMW 376 Have You Heard The Word (famous outfakes)

i've always loved that track "Frenzy and Distortion", does anyone have any info on it...eg... it sounds like there's a sample of a record in there... "guitar man"?? What/who is that bit!? https://www.discogs.com/release/6650295-Amins-Aspirations-The-Sitar-Man-The-Yoga-Way To me ...

Re: Harry And His Box Set

They're not faded out. She taped each song from start to finish. I assume that you're talking about this abomination - it's one of the very few Beatlegs, or bootlegs of any kind, that I felt was a major ripoff in those early days of collecting. Re: HAVE YOU HEARD THE WORD? 1969 Beatles Bootleg Song in STEREO

Another spurious track I love is "Bye Bye Bye" real title Nice Time by Kenny Everett. Fans laboured for YEARS trying to work out what that was! Even as late as 1990 I can remember Belmos putting a bounty on the song and offering a free book to anyone who could work out what it was. Thing ...

If these could be shared, it would be great. If only to make the complete collection complete. I’ll do a rip of all three LPs from this series soon That would be great thanks! and here they are: https://www.discogs.com/release/15650676-The-Beatles-Acetates https://www.discogs.com/release/13287855-T...

Re: Complete Acetate Collection 1961 - 1970 (Original Master Series. OMS 392-396)

Komm sounds like the ordinary mono mix, Rain is one half of the stereo mix (I remember this one on the Not Guilty LP) so not sure if legitimate or not. ALso Hello Goodbye sounds like a half stereo mix. Doc If these could be shared, it would be great. If only to make the complete collection complete...

Re: Complete Acetate Collection 1961 - 1970 (Original Master Series. OMS 392-396)

The discussion of acetates makes me bring this up again. There is a relatively recent LP Acetates Vol 3. https://www.discogs.com/release/13493943-The-Beatles-Acetates-Vol3 It has 3 acetates that I've not seen on any other compilation. Komm Gib... Rain, and Hello Goodbye. Anyone know if these are le...

Re: Complete Recording Sessions NEW UPDATES (Vol. 8 available now)

wonderful stuff this, Agnes! a couple of (maybe - if I read to the SDE book correctly)) misplaced chats: - the bit after take 4 of I Want To Tell You should be placed before take 1's announcement, since it belongs to a rehearsal take - the first part of the chat preceeding the She Said SHe Said rehe...

Stephen Freidland is the man behind the identity, Brute Force. I suspect these are re-recordings as Apple had the original locked up for decades. By the looks of the labels, they aren't recent either. this is apparently the real deal https://www.discogs.com/release/16242964-Brute-Force-Nobody-Knows
