Re: Harry And His Court Jesters

A big thanks to Lord Reith for the effort to find better audio of this performance, for taking the time to upgrade it and for sharing it with the rest of us.
This is a major upgrade which I never thought existed and I am very happy for it.
You have again done a wonderful job.
Thanks again.

Re: Watching Rainbows - The Ultimate Get Back Sessions Remaster (BETA RELEASE)

Sorry to let you down but, the project is not finished! What I was referring to is the BETA of the project that I compiled myself back in 2022, however I removed it from archive.org, I even wrote it on the first post. This is simply because the BETA only served to see the feedback of the community....

Get Back: Withdrawn early mix?

Yes. "Get Back" (the song) was mixed into mono on 26th March 1969, it was met with approval and acetates were cut. On Sunday 6th April British radio disc-jockeys John Peel and Alan Freeman broadcast acetate copies of "Get Back" (the album), announcing the title track would be rus...

Re: Are The Beatles Celluloid Rock and John Barrett's Private Reel the same

"Celluloid Rock" was a CD from Yellow Dog and as far as I recall the CDs put together from the John Barrett tapes were completely different animals.
Not the same.

Re: Beatles Live In Paris 1965 (2023 Stereo Mix)

I am not really into these mono-to-stereo remixes, or any fan-made remixes for that matter, but I must say this one is really good. Way back I tried to clean up and even up the fluctations in volume on the original mono mix but no matter what I did the concert still ended up sounding dull and lifele...

Re: Revolver Deluxe Edition - dating the outtakes?

First of all I want to thank Mike Carrera for posting this glorious track-by-track evaluation of what's what. Maybe I'm not alone in this, but I have a particular OCD with dates (especially previously unheard outtakes!) and I'd like to start a discussion about what the general consensus might be wi...

Re: Revolver 2022... it's ON!

I only have the single disc "Revolver" but find it facnating that there is a demo by John of "Yellow Submarine".
Does anybody know when it was recorded?
