Re: One Hand Clapping OUT VERY SOON !
Is it possible the original video tape has been discovered? Wasn't it produced by the then ATV Midlands? Now Central Television I think. No. One Hand Clapping was an in-house production. McCartney hired the late David Litchfield to record the sessions on 3/4" Umatic tape as the nascent format ...

Re: MLH's 'Let It Be' is coming!
There's no assumption necessary. PJ outright stated a while back that following the restoration of the footage, he and his team made it available to MLH along with a decision list: basically a playlist of the footage necessary to rebuild the original LIB film from scratch. The only thing PJ did NOT ...

Re: Penny Lane P5810 US Capitol Promo by Untehousn
The one on Complete Recording is a rip by Steve Shorten, masterfully de-wowed by csnyfan. I do remember a Untehousn, but not sure it's the same person. Let me just set that record straight: I *supplied* that rip, but it was not done by myself; it was provided by a good friend who wishes to remain a...

Re: Live Peace Catalogue Number
<t>Without knowing for certain what the situation was with the catalog number, the probability is that it had something to do with the contractual status of the album...<br/> <br/> It's an obscure piece of Beatles history/trivia, but if I recall correctly, there was some kind of legal wrangling by K...

Re: Red & Blue Albums
Hmmm, I never listened to the originals (LPs) as I heard it was Klein's crappy rush job and had all the originals anyway. But, I'm anxious to hear these reissues. Giles said his most groundbreaking work was to be found here in the earlier songs. Bear in mind that the original LPs/tapes were actuall...

Re: Red & Blue Albums
Heard the discs. They sound amazing... Also, a LOOK at the waveforms says NO, they are NOT brickwalled. More details about the newest remixes please. Waveform reviews are what they do at Hoffman. OK... Some standouts if not the old-time Shorten Reportin' review: Eight Days a Week: holy HANNAH does ...

Also, a LOOK at the waveforms says NO, they are NOT brickwalled. LOUD, but not brickwalled.
Bear in mind there are software CD rippers out there in the wild that do WEIRD things... very little other then Exact Audio Copy should be trusted.

Re: File Transfer Without Having to Reformat???
Hi all, I'm just trying to move the Film and TV Chronicles I downloaded on to my laptop to my external 2tb hard drive. There is plenty of room on the HD, but I am getting that 'file too large' message. Is there a way to move the file without having to reformat the HD? I don't want to loose or have ...
