Re: Beatles - Live on Morecambe & Wise TV Show 1963 (2023 STEREO MIX)

No. The Morecambe and Wise performance was entirely live. Yes, The Beatles were that good! And the sound engineers knew what they were doing! :D Entirely live? Then those sound engineers were absolutely amazing. It only struck me they weren't lip-syncing because during "I Want To Hold Your Han...

Re: New Brown Shoe

Great! I can finally understand some of the lyrics. Thanks

This is a terrific song. I recall a kid from my childhood who hated this song and said it was the worst thing The Beatles ever recorded. I think he was from another planet.

Nice! Thanks. I wonder if John ever regretted handing that one off.

Re: Pete Ham...Rusty Sunday

Totally agree with you on all points. Sweet Josephine and Rusty Cage would surely be perfect to be included in a new release. About Sweet Josephine I found this page https://www.angelfire.com/nv/Badfinger/PETEsweetjosephine.html where they talks about a 60 minute working tape with ideas. It would e...

Re: Abbey Road - Italy (I Want You fade out)

I shared this in another thread, but I also wanted to share several of my unique needledrops, so I asked WilliamShears if we could start a Needledrop section. Anywho, first one... "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" fade out Have you compared the times on the abrupt ending versus the fade endin...

Re: Magical Mystery Tour (2023) (Remix) (24-48) (Bonus Tracks)

George Martin to Ron Furmanek (then remixing for home video) regarding "Blue Jay Way"... George asked "Did we really put this out??" Not a surprising comment. Aside from "Taxman," George Harrison didn't really get the hang of composing until the following year. Or at l...
