Re: Ill follow the sun from SACD source / mastering

I did some checking of waveforms and this version you shared is the "hottest" (limited, it seems, but not brick walled at all) among all the versions I have (USB, vinyl, etc.). It sounds the best too, IMO. I also noticed the channel polarity is inverted on both the limited (Mirror Spock) ...

Re: TAXMAN (Stop Saying It Can't Be Remixed mix)

Found this gem on the world wide web. Might be the best Revolver remix I've heard.

Re: NEXT Peter Jackson Beatles film(?) project

Wouldn't mind a docuseries about The Beatles in 1967, starting with the Million Volt Light and Sound Rave (featuring the full "Carnival Of Light" piece) culminating with a reassembled version of "Magical Mystery Tour". After that, 1968 and other years would be given the same trea...

Re: NEXT Peter Jackson Beatles film project

Peter and his team might blend his new love of remixing with his old love of film and animation and make a promotional film for every track.

Some people believe Revolution 9 and Liverpool Sound Collage might have incorporated parts of Carnival of Light (but that might be a case of imagination coupled with wishful thinking working their magic).

I could see Rage Against The Machine doing a killer version of "Gimme Some Truth" if given a chance.

Re: A list of known unbootlegged material?

Who ever heard of a Agfa compact cassette anyway? I never even heard of the brand I've got some Agfa cassettes in my collection that look like this https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/U1UAAOSwKAJbcTkS/s-l500.jpg I don't have any cassettes of David Crosby and Mike Nesmith making music with John Lennon in...

Capturing the output from a turntable and pre-amp at a low volume affects the spectral appearance, too. It wouldn’t matter if the disc is very clean, made from high quality vinyl and played back on the best gear in your neighbourhood.
