So.
The movie is 4x3 ratio, with a new intro with Peter Jackson and MLH.
The soundtrack is absolutely in Dolby Atmos.
The video wipe effect when the movie transitions to Apple is now a straight cut.
And there is slightly more footage after Paul finishes Get Back on the roof.

Re: Let It Be Film - end of an era
In 1972, my jr high school had an after school showing of Let it Be. It might have cost 2 dollars to see it. I remember vividly everyone hissing at Yoko everytime she appeared on screen. Fast forward to the mid 1980's. I was wondering around a flea market and found a used VHS copy for sale for $20.0...

Re: Michael Lindsay-Hogg's 'Let It Be' is coming!
I expect that it will look exactly like Peter Jackson's version. But it will be edited to match the original structure of Let it Be.

Very good job! To my ears, version 1 is the one!
Too bad, the fabs didn't have a clean copy of this to work with for Anthology.

Re: Michael Lindsay-Hogg's 'Let It Be' is coming!
I still don't get the excitement here. Peter Jackson made the project not only watchable, but more exciting. At 8 hours! This sounds like having a window, breaking the glass, replacing the window with a clean new piece of glass, and then asking to see the broken glass again. To my mind, Let It Be i...

Re: Michael Lindsay-Hogg's 'Let It Be' is coming!
I would still rather have the theater quality release of Shea instead, to be honest.

Re: MLH's 'Let It Be' is coming!
I can't wait to see the SHF thread, with 675 pages worth of arguments about the cropping and grain reduction! Myself I don't really care as neither really bothered me in Get Back. What I enjoyed in Get Back was all the stuff that they performed incidentally. The stuff that they were TRYING to recor...

Re: MLH's 'Let It Be' is coming!
I dunno. I found Let It Be to be terrible. It completely omitted the dramatic highlight of the entire project...George quitting.
Peter Jackson's Get Back tells the real story of the project.
I have had a VHS copy for years btw.
