The warning is well taken - you should be careful about preserving important things. On the other hand, the point for me at least, and maybe some of you, is how much crap to which I never, ever listen (or watch) have I stuffed onto CD's and DVD? How much of my life have I wasted searching out, down...

Back in high school circa-1978 my shop teacher recorded some Get Back outtakes on an 8-track cartridge tape for me, not sure of his original source but I did recognize bits of it later on when listening to subsequent boots.

We had a discussion elsewhere about John's lack of involvement on George's later songs. The opposite is true of Paul, he had to crank up his bass playing to be "visible" on George's songs (ie, here, Something, etc.).
