Turns out, it was my old CD player was the problem. The cdr's played fine on a friend's CD player!

I Converted the files, used Express Burn to create an audio CD and when played on a stereo CD player it still skips through the tracks. I bought a new CD/DVD writer and it does exactly the same. So what's happening that my Mac mini M1 isn't able copy or create an audio CD.

This time the burner was able to burn my converted files but the finished cd skips? Is my cheap cd writer the issue?
