Re: MLH's 'Let It Be' is coming!
I just can't understand what is going on in January 69. They just play those same songs over and over... what was the point?? Normally they'd just work on the song for one session, then add overdubs at extra sessions, mix it and then forget about it. But Paul seemed determined to drive the songs in...

Re: Harry And His Box Set (V1, 2, 7, 10, 12, 15, 14 update.)
I loved the way you presented Lewisohn’s A COMPLETE CATALOGUE OF THE BEATLES' BBC RADIO PERFORMANCES last time, with your addendums that included comments on the tape sources for each show. I know that’s a lot of work in itself, but an update of that including the ramblings would be fun. I did upda...

Re: Yellow Matter Custard (stereo)
Ah! Some custard for dessert!
Wait, what is all this yellow matter in my custard?
I had this one back in the day. Think I bought it in 1976.

Re: Harry And His Box Set (V1, 2, 7, 10, 12, 15, 14 update.)
So this is it, right? I will miss the regular offering of new and improved BBC tracks. I'm still taking my time getting through all this. I had never spent much time with the non-music stuff, but it is interesting. I listened to Juke Box Jury this morning. What an uncomfortable position to put music...

Re: The Beatles And Harry At The Beeb
That's a great observation. I had not noticed that. And in retrospect, it's understandable that it was so. Late 1964 Beatles had LITERALLY no time to go to Nems to check the latest American releases any more. The thing is, being a musician myself I can put two and two together and extrapolate and i...
