Looking For A Lost Interview

Specifically, I am looking for a tape which may or may not exist out there in the ether. In 1976, Emperor Rosko did a two hour interview with John And Yoko which was never broadcast. But there is a tape of it. Somewhere. So far, all I can find is an interview he did with John And Yoko on Midday Spin...

Forgotten By History

Allan Williams and Bruno Koschmider weren't the only people who had their hands on The Beatles in terms of managing them and booking them gigs in the early days in Hamburg. I am hearing that there was another person, a Harry or Henry something who was managing them possibly before Allan Williams got...

Re: FIRST US VISIT coming soon!

I couldn't really get behind let It Be and fell asleep twice during it before giving up. But this... wow, it's pure Beatlemania. Can't wait. You're probably right re: streaming only, hardcopy release tbd. I would even venture that the release, if Apple has anything to do with it, and they probably ...

Re: Let It Be Film - end of an era

I saw it in December '84 which must also have been one of the last times it was seen through legitimate channels. Well, granted this was probably about 15-20 years ago,....the movie house where I saw Let It Be is in Studio City. It was by private invitation by a gentleman who, years previous, and o...

Re: John and Yoko on Mike Douglas show 1972

It was released on DVD years ago through Rhino. Or at least, that's the logo on the cover. A 3 DVD Set of all 5 complete shows, released in Brazil(?). I have it,....but not the space to upload it. I tried to attach the cover here (1.2Mb.) But I'm getting a message that the board attachment quota has...

Re: Let It Be Film - end of an era

The interview between PJ and MLH is a nice addition....a wee bit of fawning on the part of PJ, but still nice. The picture is awesome. My go-to as far as scrutinizing the A/V synch has always been Maxwell's Silver Hammer; Mal banging the anvil. It always frustrated me when that was out of synch. Now...

Re: Let It Be Film - end of an era

I echo the sentiment of general disappointment expressed by LR. Mainly that the supposed target fan base is those who lived through it the first time around. And sadly, many have passed on. It makes zero sense to me, either, why this feature would be shelved for so long. Yeah, it's dreary and gloomy...
