Rare color footage of Billy Preston on Shindig!

Hey, I hope I'm not breaking the rules by posting this here. If WS doesn't want it on here then I'll remove it. I just thought I'd share it here because Billy did work with the Beatles. Again though, if this breaks the "other artists" rule then I'm sorry. https://youtu.be/8yAwWugJTAM?si=Xh...

This edit is old so I did make some mistakes however I felt it was still worth sharing here.

Re: Who do you think is the best-sounding Beatles tribute band?

The Analogues don't look anything like the Beatles but they have the closest sound.

If you want sound + looks I'd say Fab Four.

Re: Let It Be Film - end of an era

You gotta wonder why it suddenly disappeared from the world in the mid 80s. I mean, was it that bad that Apple had to "cancel" it? It all just seems so stupid, keeping a movie hidden for 40 years. I mean, Help, that vanished for a while but it was less than ten years. 40 years is a total ...

Hey Bulldog Outtakes not on HMC

Good afternoon, here's the 2015 "Revolver TV" Hey Bulldog edit. This video is very compressed but I thought it's worth sharing because it has a couple clips that were not in the HMC/TMOQ DVD or Adambound's reconstruction. Enjoy

Re: Let It Be Film - end of an era

I was thinking about how back in the day I ran into a LIB laser disk in the local video rental store and was able to talk my parents into renting it, along with a LD player, plus a VHS player - so that I could try to record a copy of it. I figured it out and had what I considered a decent copy of t...

Re: Michael Lindsay-Hogg's 'Let It Be' is coming!

I guess Apple must not want to invest any extra cash into this considering that it's 2 weeks away and we've got no trailer.

Re: Michael Lindsay-Hogg's 'Let It Be' is coming!

First-most I expect it to be just like the previous restorations and the promos on 1+, so a straight transfer with minimal corrections except for the regular dirt and scratches fixed. Then secondly we might expect a widescreen version, like R&R Circus as was mentioned, but as that requires a re...

Re: Michael Lindsay-Hogg's 'Let It Be' is coming!

Assuming that Michael has final say I'd like to imagine it's 4:3 because the Furmanek remaster (seen on HMC) was 4:3 and the unreleased Smeaton remaster (seen in Living in the Material World and McCartney 321.) was also 4:3 If it were coming out on dvd instead of going to streaming, I'd guess that ...
