I appreciate these must have been a lot harder to do with the increased bouncing down of instruments in the recording process for this album.

I think it might be more immersive than the Rubber Soul 5.1 I made from the Rock Band stems as Peter61 managed to get some very nice separations indeed. Here's the soundtrack in quad. Think the 5.1 from the film basically uses the quad mix but this soundtrack features the complete song.

Unfortunately, the original stems were lossy so I don't think I can make it much better but I shall see what I can do with the Beatles For Sale mix. Cheers!

I figured out how to turn MOGGs into a simple 5.1 mix using Audacity a few years ago and did a 5.1 mix of Rubber Soul using the stems from Rock Band. Appleyard, I never created a surround sound audio, I don't have those facilities so, I don't know how it works, but this You Tube tutorial (like many others that are available) seems to be useful, when it's time to convert the MOGG file (or whatever the audio format) in a 5.1 suround sound.
